CS:GO Review, will have more later!

As one of Valve Software's flagship game series, Counter-Strike is well known for its blend of strategic action and realistic gunplay. Global Offensive, the latest iteration of the series, brings back the popular tactical shooter after an eight-year hiatus with a significant visual redesign, new weapons and modes. Unfortunately, while it's still the same robust FPS we've all come to know, love and/or hate, it doesn't do a whole lot to break new ground for the series.
For those new to the series, Global Offensive is going to be a vastly different experience from the kind of run-and-gun style action you might've seen in Call of Duty or Battlefield. Things like regenerating health, kill streaks and Michael Bay-esque explosions dotting expansive battlefields full of tanks and helicopters are absent fromCounter-Strike - the focus is on smaller teams of Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists completing objectives rather than killing everything that moves. You'll be challenged to develop a different set of skills centered on moving cautiously, placing your shots and thinking how to work best with your teammates, and well, chances are you're going to die a lot getting the hang of Counter-Strike's mechanics. But that makes the first time you successfully plant the bomb, rescue a hostage or just survive a round in one piece all the more satisfying.
For veterans of the series, the good news is that you'll feel right at home with Global Offensive. It may have received a graphical overhaul, and some of your favorite weapons and maps may be absent, but it still offers the same kind of adrenaline rush you might remember from playing the original Counter-Strike well over a decade ago. The game's dual scenarios of rescuing hostages or disarming bombs are back in full form, along with a handful of classic Counter-Strike maps including Dust and Aztec, but the bad news is, you're going feel a fair amount of déjà vu playing through them. As fun as it is to pull off a daring rescue of all the blindfolded hostages that are holed up in Office's projector room, I couldn't help but feel that I had been there and done that a dozen times before. There may be no time like the present for those new to tactical shooters to give Counter-Strike a try than with Global Offensive, but for long-time fans of the game, you're going to notice that Counter-Strike's game play is starting to show its age.

Sitting here thinking...

I will be 16 in two months and I know I am to young to be thinking about my dream EDC,
Every Day Carry.

M1911 Colt .45 ACP officers carry.
the gun has always been the one to catch my eye because of its history and how it is an extremely reliable gun to have!

Then for the, fun on the range, I want the M1O8 50CAL anti-matter Rifle, in bolt action of course! I love a gun with kick and this I think has just that!

In the comments feel free to tell me what you want for a fire arm or what you have now!

Update!

In class and bored,  thinking about doing some PC game reviews for steam.
I play G-Mod, CS-GO, CS:S, Rust, and a few other action and FPS style games.
I know I have been neglecting the blog because I was really getting into the gaming  and started to forget, I will try to post once a week at the least and will be streaming with friends every now and then on twitch! Jordan, Signing off.

argument esay

Jordan Stucker
period 2.

Gun Control
In England less than two hundred people a year die from a gunshot, this is because no one owns guns. A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. What does this mean? What  should be done about gun control? Instead of creating new, strict, gun control laws the government of the United States of America should be enforcing the ones currently in effect.

Because of gun laws and how strict they are getting, people are discouraged from acting safely and responsibly with a firearm. “Those who support individual gun ownership say that many responsible people own unregistered guns. For example, a shop owner who has been robbed several times may want to acquire a gun as soon as possible, to get a gun quickly they might not obey gun laws”(Long, Barbara) And if someone acquires an illegal gun, they will not take such a thing out to a shooting range or safety classes because it is unregistered. They are afraid someone will catch them with it and they will be in great trouble, but they are putting others in danger by not having training with their gun.

Some people say that guns create a false sense of security, that if a gun is used to resist violence the victim is more likely to get killed. Well this is true but they are using the stereotypical movie criminal who won't think twice before pulling the trigger. If the victim pulls  a gun on an attacker, their chance of surviving the attack will increase greatly. The rate of survival outweighs the chance of death, now seeing how strict gun laws will end up making hazards for others, how having looser and owning a gun is a good thing.

Guns can and do stop crimes because  “Criminals are less likely to commit crimes knowing there victim has a gun...In ten state correctional systems criminals were served and 56% said they would not attack the victim knowing they had a gun...In twenty nine states that allowed concealed carry  the crime rate fell to 2.1%”(Long, Barbara) Having a firearm will make anyone a less likely target because the predator does not want to die. Some people say that allowing concealed carry will not prevent crime. this is both true and false. If an attacker is unaware of the gun they will carry their task out but if they do know there is a gun they will likely not attack the one that is carrying a tool that could end there life before they can blink.

“Anti gun controllers point out to incidents where people without a gun have been seriously hurt.” It is true that guns can kill people. But what is never brought up is that guns can save people through self defence, like in the case of James Edward Scott. “An 83 year old man shot and wounded an intruder in his backyard in Baltimore Maryland. His neighbors say he was targeted several times before. The authorities took his gun and less than a year later Scott was strangled in his home by yet another burglar.” (Long, Barbara) Just like Scott, people without guns are targeted daily for theft, rape, or even murder. And a gun can be a great help and keeping them from completing their task. therefore Guns are extremely useful when it comes to self defence

Once again, instead of creating new gun laws the government should enforce the ones they have now. And remember having stricter gun laws can be a hazard because those who have unregistered guns are untrained,  having a gun prevents crime, and guns are effective for self defence because a gun is a tool. It is not a evil murder weapon, it is a tool and a tool has one job. To make life and jobs easier, a tool in the wrong hands can be used badly, but the tool itself can not go out and shoot someone. without a gunman a gun is harmless. It is those people who are going to be that evil gunman who should not have a gun. Guns don't kill people people kill people. If someone were being confronted by a criminal who wanted to rob, rape, or even kill them. Should they use a gun?

hey its Jordan, its been a while but I got a different headset than expected.
I got myself a pair of turtle beach X32's. these are so amazing but it also has its flaws.
I believe the pros to this headset is...
they are VERY comfortable. with my old headset my head and ears would hurt so bad that I would have to turn off my games for the night but this headset is over ear so they hardly even touch my ears.
the sound quality is out standing. along with this there are two buttons on the left ear that control bass and treble. I believe that this should be  used for music or the more intense games. and the other button controls the field of hearing.the settings are normal, wide, and narrow. these settings make it so you can hear approaching enemy's more easily detectable.
the cons...
it is pretty pricey. I bought my headset at game stop and new it costs about 100.00 dollars but the register lady was nice enough to tell me about a pair that were sent back unopened but were sold at a used price because they were bought and returned so I only payed 81.99 for it.
the wires are to 'much'.with the wire less function is used through a adapter that gets plugged in some where in a outlet or your counsel and it is hard to keep untangled.
very complicated to setup for the first time. the guide is not very reliable because it dose not give the full instructions. plus the headset isn't meant for PC gaming so to use it you need to by a separate 3.5mm jack to use audio.
I haven't had them for that long but so far they are shining through for me.

Im back and excited for my headset that is coming tomorrow so yay me. And I am going to start doing game reviews for steam and the PS3 sometime this or next week. This is a long shot but if you know some really good games for steam that are free then please by all means share and I will get it and post a review and thanks within three to five days of getting it. However if it is not free then I may not be able to get it right away. I will start my reviews and such with the PS3 games I have played.
